This is pretty interesting-Aren't most of you thinking of university?  If you are then I am about to make your day.  FACT: There are a number of U.S. universities willing to pay for your school fees and living costs up to your level of demonstrated need.  This means that if the fees are, say $43000, and your family can only pay $1111 then the university will pay the rest.  The financial aid is not in form of merit based scholarships but is available to any one admitted to the university. Once you get admitted they will guarantee that you can afford it.  However, such universities are few and far between and admission to them is challenging. 

Though admissions to these institutions of excellence is challenging, it does not mean it is impossible to get in.  All the institutions have a good number of Kenyan students, if they made it why not you?? DO NOT GIVE UP, try them, or AT LEAST VISIT the SITES (Application deadline for all is January 1 for the year in which you intend to enter.)
